Ashley Rowell has been with UNC Charlotte's Broadcast Communications department since May of 2005.  Her role within the department includes locating educational content for UNC Charlotte Cable Television, creating monthly television schedules, and programming the shows to air on Time Warner Cable Channel 22. Ashley downlinks satellite programs from many popular venues and news organizations, buys educational programming from vendors such as Disney Educational Productions, and negotiates contracts with distributors, in order to offer a diverse collection of quality series for all ages. She also produces and edits promos to air on the channel that help inform the community of classes and events offered at UNC Charlotte. Ashley earned her B.A. in Art with a focus in photography from UNC Charlotte in 2008.
